In Memory

In MemoryEvery year 125,000 animals are admitted to Houston shelters and more than 90,000 of them never make it out alive.

The stray situation in Texas is dire and many animals will fall victim as a result of underfunding, overpopulation and lack of education. While shelters are terrible for all animals, to mother’s and young animals it is especially deadly

Due to the limited amount of time animals are given to be placed in homes while at the shelters, mothers do not have the time needed to take care of their puppies and during that time the puppies undeveloped immune systems are exposed to potentially deadly viruses.

We at Pup Squad are a life line for local shelters to help rescue these mothers and pups immediately when they come in and put them in foster homes where they will have the time to take care of their litters until they are healthy and old enough to find their forever homes.
